With its close geological ties to the prolific gas giants of Tanzania and Mozambique, Kenya's offshore potential is now being fully realized under the strategic leadership of the Kenyan National Oil Company and in partnership with TGS.
The Kenyan Ministry of Energy & Petroleum, in collaboration with TGS, is spearheading a new wave of exploration. This renewed focus is unlocking the potential of Kenya’s offshore basins, particularly the Anza Basin, Mandera Basin, Tertiary Rift Basin, and the Lamu Basin. These regions are now at the forefront of exploration activities, offering promising opportunities for significant oil and gas finds.
