AOW2023 announces new additions to its Ministerial delegations

With the official opening of AOW 2023 only a few days away, AOW is delighted to announce new additions to the list of ministerial delegations attending this year’s edition.

H.E. Marcel Abeke, Minister of Oil within Gabon’s transitional government, will be coming to speak about investment opportunities within one of Central Africa’s most dynamic and established markets. As the former head of the Compagnie Minière de l'Ogooué (COMILOG), H.E. Marcel Abeke understands the role and expectations of the private sector and is expected to engage with a wide range of stakeholders around business opportunities within Gabon’s upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.

H.E. Djerassem Le-Bemajel, Minister of Petroleum and Energy of Chad, is also joining AOW 2023 this year to speak about boosting exploration and growing oil production. Chad remains one of Africa’s most established petroleum provinces with significant opportunities in upstream and downstream as the country seeks to grow output and expand its energy infrastructure.

H.E. Dr. Hotna Cufuk Na Doha, Minister of Natural Resources of Guinea-Bissau is will also be part of AOW 2023 this year to speak about exploration opportunities within the MSGBC Basin. He will join a much-anticipated regional showcase and spotlight on MSGBC countries and share his perspectives on the potential and opportunities of investing in Guinea-Bissau.

The Gabon, Chad, and Guinea-Bissau delegations join a prestigious list of confirmed government officials and national oil companies attending AOW 2023 this year including Nigeria, Angola, Ghana, South Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda, Congo-Brazzaville, Guinea, Tanzania, The Gambia, and Morocco.
