Giovanni has 22 years’ experience in the oil and gas business, with the last 8 spent in leading exploration departments. Throughout his career, Giovanni has covered several positions starting from the Wellsite Geologist on the rig site, passing through operational roles till the current position. He has lived and worked in lots of countries such as Venezuela, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Egypt, Nigeria and Angola. Thanks to his mobility he has developed a strong experience in leading the geological operations and exploration activities.
Giovanni graduated in applied geology to the protection of the environment, University of Catania in Italy. Passionate about the oil & energy sector, he enjoys working and cooperating with a wide range of people across the upstream sector. He is a strong believer of communication and knowledge sharing.
