Jean Philippe Atse

Jean-Philippe ATSE has accumulated 20 years of experience in the finance and energy sectors. He has worked as an investment banker and oil & gas specialist at Société Générale’s corporate and investment banking in Hong Kong. Jean-Philippe also led the strategy team for a commodities derivatives exchange in Hong Kong. Currently and since 2022, he serves as the Managing Partner at Africa Integrated Energy Solutions, where he oversees the strategic direction and financial structuring of energy projects across the continent. Early in his career, he worked as a Reservoir Engineer at PETROCI in Côte d’Ivoire. Mr. ATSE holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Master of Science in Petroleum Economics Management from IFP School in Paris, a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an engineering degree from the Ecole Supérieure des Mines et Géologie in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire. He consults on projects related to the development and financing of energy markets in emerging countries and regularly teaches courses on financial markets, leadership, and entrepreneurship

COTE D’ IVOIRE SPOTLIGHT

This session will be presented by Petroci, DGH to set out the current status of key projects in Cote d`Ivoire and the future outlook as to why Cote d`Ivoire remains an exploration and production destination of choice for the global upstream. Across the session they will provide an update on the significant achievements in the Baleine and Calao fields in Block CI-205. The session will explore the next steps for the sector, focusing on the potential of the Western Offshore region and activities in the Tano Basin.   This will be followed by geological insights on priority licenses.
