Jinot Razafimamonji
Director of Hydrocarbons Ministry of Energy and Hydrocarbons, Madagascar
JINOT Razafimamonjy, Director of Hydrocarbons, is an expert in public administration. He studied law and political history. Over the past 11 years, he has held a number of important positions at the Ministry of Energy and Hydrocarbons, including Head of Division, Head of the Legislation and Litigation Department, twice Director of Human Resources, Director of Hydrocarbons Studies and Regulation, and currently Director of Hydrocarbons. As Director of Hydrocarbons, he is responsible for drawing up the strategy and implementing the State's downstream oil sector policy. He also coordinates the activities of the technical departments reporting to him.
He holds an Advanced Diploma in Administration Studies from Madagascar's National School of Administration (ENAM - Ecole Nationale d'Administration de Madagascar), a Master's degree in law and an Advanced Diploma in Political History (D.A.S - Diploma of Advanced Studies). He has solid expertise in the regulation of the downstream oil sector. He has led the reform of several regulatory texts in collaboration with the Malagasy Hydrocarbons Office (OMH - Office Malgache des Hydrocarbures), and also works closely with the Madagascar Petroleum Group (GPM - Groupement Pétrolier de Madagascar ).
In addition to his professional achievements, JINOT Razafimamonjy is also involved in academic research. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies aimed at deepening his knowledge and further contributing to the regulation of the downstream oil sector. He has also taken part in a number of training courses, notably on low-carbon green industry and climate change in China, and recently on the preparation of projects and program-Negotiations and mobilization of TFP funding with international funders at CIFOPE in Paris.
