Managing Director Bambili Group

Nyonga Fofang is the Managing Director of Bambili Group, the parent company of Bambili Energy. His career covers over 25 years in the capital markets, during which time he was involved in all aspects of private equity investing, including M & A, leveraged finance and general management.

He worked as a closed end fund equity analyst at PaineWebber Inc., a full-service financial services firm on Wall Street, New York. He also worked at Dillon Read & Co., a New York City-based private investment group, in the risk arbitrage division, where was a member of a five-person team that managed half a billion dollars for the arbitrage group. He was an executive Director of the Dema Group, a major shareholder in Incwala Resources, a platinum mining firm in South Africa.

He was a board member and Chairperson of the Audit and Risk committees for Standard Charter Bank in Cameroon for the last 8 years. He is a non-executive director of Source Trace LCC - a US-based enterprise software development company and is also currently the lead independent non-executive director of Mergence Asset Management Group Pty Ltd, a $2.3 billion asset management company in Cape Town, South Africa. Nyonga is a graduate of Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA), and UC Louvain in Brussels, Belgium
