As reported by Energy Voice, Petronas has handed Maersk Drilling a $24 million contract to drill one well off Gabon using a deepwater drillship, drilling an ultra-deepwater exploration well in Block F13. 

BW Energy has launched its 2021 drilling campaign in Gabon with the spudding of the Hibiscus extension well. The company will drill three wells on the Dussafu licence including two exploration wells on the Hibiscus find and a production well on the Tortye field. Continue reading.
