About the stages

Plenary Stage

The Plenary is where Africa’s upstream’s future direction and strategy are forged. From ministerial panels to strategic outlook from supermajors and plans for driving investment into the African upstream, this is where the industry’s top-level multi-stakeholder discussions happen. A combination of panel discussions, presentations, fireside chats, and much more are designed to encourage conversation post sessions.

Africa Independents Forum

An entire day dedicated to independent operators who will outline new partnerships, business, and acquisition opportunities. Hear from keynote speakers from the independents most prevalent across the continent and the most exciting JV opportunities across Africa delivered in quick five minute pitches

South Africa Day

A dedicated one-day programme, South Africa Day gives you access to the exhibition, networking and general content on that day as well as a full day of South African centric content. The South Africa Day is a long-standing commitment from Africa Oil Week to welcome South Africa energy business and provide South Africa with a dedicated platform to develop its message as a risk adjusted investment destination for global energy companies.

Green Energy Africa Summit

Introducing Green Energy Africa Summit to Africa Oil Week, connecting the world with the African energy industry. It’s the platform of choice for investors, IPPs, utilities, and government leaders. The summit will provide the deal platform and engine room for growth across Africa’s renewable and low carbon sector. Plus, roundtable talks with 30+ Ministers from across the continent and beyond to engage in project development negotiations with the global private sector.
